Rare Trading Guide

Recommended at level 3-4  (100 000 - 10 000 000 cr) for relative maximum profit/hour.

• The further you go from the buying source of these commodities, the more money you will get selling them. Think on the scale of a 100 ly, or more.
• Rare trade routes are most effective if you visit all stations in a cluster and fill your cargo hold with as much of these goods as you can.
• Rare commodities are scarce, you should expect no more than 10-12 tonnes of them at once in one place.
• Trading rares is most efficient with a fuel scoop on board, as these routes are very long. You can save some time (and lower the risk of interdiction) by not having to visit a station after every 4-5 jumps.
• Some rares are illegal in some systems. If you are carrying illegal goods in a system, you will find an "Illicit cargo" tag light up on the right side of the HUD.
