Combat Guide Progress

Greetings Commander,

I've made some good progress with the combat guide, so it's ready-ish for use. I will strive to finish it up tonight, by adding a ship progression chart (done) and a weapon comparison chart.

As always, if you find faulty data or if you have any suggestions regarding the content, please comment, and I will correct the problem.

It's Monday, 25th of January. I've updated the Exploration Guide with a lot of data today, and I plan to finish it up finished it this evening by adding a table for ideal ship progression for this play style. Next on my agenda is combat (bounty hunting to be more precise). Meanwhile check out the Mining Guide too!

Working on Exploration

Greetings Commander,

It's Sunday, 24th of January. Moving on from the mining guide my next target is completing the topic of Exploration. I'm currently working on organizing all data I have about it to provide you with results as soon as possible.

Mining Guide

Greetings Commander,

Substantial progress has been made on the Mining Guide, which is now considered complete, however there may be further feature additions and corrections due to game upgrades, and user input.

Every other topic has been supplemented to a certain degree. The format of the Mining Guide will be the sample by which the other play styles will be expounded.

The State of the Project

Greetings Commander,

I have been playing Elite: Dangerous for a long while now, and since I had mostly all my problems solved, and questions answered by our wonderful community, I've decided to dedicate a site to bringing all the little fragments of information together into one, comprehensive, organized handbook that can be easily navigated and used promptly to find the most relevant information that helps alleviate your burning questions.

Right now, I've set up most of the topics I'd like to expand upon, as you can see on the left side of the blog. I have only got so much time to do anything, so if you've found this site by accident, I would recommend that you to return often, since I will be working hard bringing everything up to speed.

All guides for the several available play styles (exploration, mining, trading, etc.) will be formatted into the same basic template that allows the reader to quickly navigate to information about ships, points of interest, outfitting, tips and tricks, progression and such.

I will strive to use information that I've found by my own experience, rather than relaying someone else's observations, but whenever relevant, I will link you to the original material, and credit the source.
